FAQ

Who are our members?

WIFS' membership is composed of industry leaders, client-facing and allied professionals who benefit from national and local chapter services. Members benefit from monthly educational webinars on a variety of business and professional development topics, a mentorship program, and peer connections. More than three-quarters of members have 10+ years of business experience and earn $100K or more annually. Regional chapters are active across the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

How does mentorship work?

WIFS’ Mentorship Program is unparalleled, offering a remarkable opportunity for experienced professionals to pay it forward by sharing their expertise and providing guidance to those just embarking upon their careers or beginning a new endeavor. For mentees, the experience provides a fundamental stepping-stone on their journey to succeed in this industry.

The Mentorship Program is offered twice a year and is free to members. Mentors and mentees are matched based on their personalities, goals and interests, and mentor-mentee pairs have access to a variety of resources to guide them through the process, including regular conference calls with the National staff.
